The atelier where it is made

We are a small studio. There is no factory floor and no warehouse of pieces waiting to be discounted — there are rolls of cloth, patterns and sewing machines. A garment is made only once someone orders it, and that changes everything else: how much fabric we buy, how long you wait, and what can be done with the piece when it needs mending years later.

01

Cut only after you order

We keep no stock of finished pieces to sell off cheaply at the end of a season. Once you choose a size, the piece is made — usually within 14 days.

02

We count metres, not pieces

For every pattern we know how many metres it takes. We buy for what we will actually sew, so no roll is left over to end up as waste.

03

One piece, one pair of hands

A garment doesn't travel down a line. From the first cut to the last stitch, one person works on it — and checks it before it is wrapped.

04

Mend it, don't bin it

If something goes wrong in time, write to us. We can repair our own pieces — cheaper for you and for the planet than making a new one.
